Less than 10km from Kimberly’s famous Big Hole, lies the Kamfers Dam. It has been one of only 4 vital breeding grounds in Africa for the lesser flamingos and is sadly experiencing a drought which has led to the once 400 hectare dam, dropping far below it’s normal magnitude.

"The 2 day campaign of living with his vulture brothers, is aimed to raise awareness on living in symbiosis with these sorely misunderstood scavengers. Delano will be proving that the negative stigma is far from the truth and that sharing our planet is much easier than most would like to believe. Without vultures… pests would raid, disease would spread, our waters would become contaminated and the whole ecosystem would be compromised."
