The Cango Wildlife Ranch is going gaming and #StreamingForConservation!

We are teaming up with livestream gamers and content creators from around the world to raise funds and awareness for our animals!

Join them and interact as they play games and music, share their stories and favourite animals, and help save our animal family!

WHAT IS “STREAMING"?

Streamers are people who play games or music, or create art, and much more besides, who share their content via specific internet platforms such as Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and Facebook. By following their links, you can go to the streamer’s specific channel or platform and see what they’re doing live!

TO TAKE PART IN THIS EVENT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS:

1) Take a look at the links below and choose a stream to visit based on content you might enjoy and times/dates that suit you!

All you have to do is click a link and it will take you to their channel!

Their content ranges from gaming, to music, to photography – feel free to visit multiple streams!

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS EVENT?

To raise awareness and funds for the Cango Wildlife Ranch (CWR) and it's NPC wing, the Cheetah Preservation Foundation (CPF).

The global COVID-19 lockdowns mean no visitors to our facility; no visitors means no income, which means no way to look after our animals! Over 4000 animals are in danger and we need to do what we can to help!

WHO ARE CWR AND CPF?

The Cango Wildlife Ranch is an accredited zoological facility that specialises in education and endangered species protection and breeding. It is located in Oudtshoorn, South Africa and has been helping animals for over 35 years, maintaining a steady and effective presence in conservation and ecological education locally as well as globally. The CWR is accredited by the World Association of Zoos and Aquaria and is regularly endorsed and inspected by the SPCA.

The non-profit Cheetah Preservation Foundation is one of the oldest cheetah breeding institutions in the world and helps maintain cheetah bloodlines worldwide by cooperating with other, accredited organisations to help improve the genetic state of this incredible and endangered animal.
